Longtime fans of interactive sequin shirts, the SequinSisters wanted to wallpaper their entire rooms with flip sequins. Mom and Dad weren't huge fans of that, so we all compromised on the idea of a hanging piece of flip sequin art. And the original Flippy Frame was born!
The SequinSisters showed their new piece of art off to all their friends, and everyone wanted one. Mom and Dad thought this was a great opportunity to teach the sisters about business, hard work, and creating something all your own.
Flippy Frames are the product of the SequinSisters hard work. They came up with the idea. They chose the patterns. They chose the shapes. Welcome to their journey!
who are the sequin sisters?
Kensington — Kensie's favourite Flippy Frame is Rainbow Connection. Kensie loves ball hockey, making art, and dancing with her friends.
Kensington has picked the Big Life Foundation to contribute part of the Flippy Frame proceeds. The Big Life Foundation, using innovative conservation strategies and collaborating closely with local communities, partner NGOs, national parks, and government agencies, seeks to protect and sustain East Africa’s wildlife and wild lands, including one of the greatest populations of elephants left in East Africa. Kensie says that she wants to "help save the elephants because it's not nice that people hurt them."
Scarlett — Scarlett's favourite Flippy Frame is Robotron. Scarlett loves scootering, playing with her dog, and beating her Dad at memory games.
Scarlett has picked the SickKids Foundation to contribute part of the Flippy Frame proceeds. The SickKids Foundation believes that fighting for the health and wellbeing of children is one of the most powerful ways to improve society. Scarlett wants to donate to SickKids because one of her friends broke his arm and got a cast there, and it's important to "make sick kids better when they are hurt."
